What beauty school skipped

You learned the color wheel. Nobody taught you how to fill a book.

The ask

Rebooking before they leave the chair

Simple words for the moment you hand back the mirror, so the next appointment feels like care and not a sales pitch.

The consult

Consults that build trust

Listening for what the client actually wants, setting honest expectations, and talking about price without shrinking.

The pipeline

Where new clients come from

Referrals, walk-ins, model calls, and social media that shows your work without living on your phone.

The pace

A book you can sustain

Boundaries, breaks, and handling the slow weeks and the hard clients without burning out in year one.

How Book Builder works

Twelve weeks, one chair, measurable change.

  1. Book audit

We look at your last 60 days: who came back, who didn't, where your new clients came from, and where your energy goes.

  2. Chair-side scripts

We write and practice your consult, rebook, and referral language until it sounds like you on a busy Saturday.

  3. Weekly pipeline

One focused plan per week for new clients. We adjust it each session based on what actually filled your book.

  4. Sustain it

Boundaries, pricing confidence, and a plan for slow seasons, so the book you built doesn't cost you your health.

The numbers we track

Busy is a feeling. These are the facts.

Every stylist I coach tracks a short set of numbers each week. They show what is working before your bank account does.

Rebook, at the mirror

"Your color will look best around six weeks. Want me to hold the same time for you?"

Referral, after a great result

"If you have a friend who'd love this, I'm taking new clients on Thursdays."

About your coach

Vicky

LCSWStylist & salon coachConnecticut

Behind the chair, your nervous system is part of the service.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by training. My background centers on the nervous system, and I see the same patterns in new stylists again and again: freezing when it's time to ask for the rebook, apologizing for prices, saying yes to every late client, and running on empty by Friday.

Coaching brings that understanding to the practical work of building a clientele. We pair real business skills with steady, regulated confidence, so you can grow a book that lasts and still have something left for your own life.

Coaching is not therapy and is not a substitute for mental health treatment. Coaching clients are not therapy clients, and no clinical services are provided through this business.
